RIDE OUTLINE

Late October can still be a little unsettled up in the Snowies as our part of the world breaks free from winter and battles into spring / summer. A colourful array of natural grasses start to push through, snowmelt choked rivers thunder along and native animals start to tentatively wander about, but all can quickly retreat at the rumbling of a late snow storm. To me this is one of the best times, for all is young and bursting with energy but its also unhurried and peaceful with few imposters about. The ponies are fresh and attentive, aromatic oils drift from loosening saddle leathers, and happy memories of music and merriment huddled around last night’s campfire set the base for an inspiring few days. We’ll be chasing the source of those rivers and climbing some peaks for the humbling views…might even sing some songs, yodel and recite some homespun poetry in the hillbilly highlands! We will also be unearthing and critically bouncing around some practical business problems and creative business ideas, and looking to draw on the natural wizardry and wide experience of us all in this magical / transformative environment to generate some compelling long term solutions.
